“So many overwhelming emotions as we head home from Sun Escape Weekend. Its been no secret that life has had its challenges since our son started having severe sun reactions 5 years ago. We have done our best to piece things together but uncertainly and feelings of isolation still pop up.

“From the first night to saying goodbye, my emotions were high. The feeling of being surrounded by people who just get it was surreal. Medicine or not, we still deal with these diseases daily and to have a weekend where we could just be with others who understand that was beyond a blessing!

I had a blast being a family pal and spending all weekend making sure my fellow EPPers had the best time at their sun free camp.
